The final gala evening (concert) of the international singing competition Bon Art Junior Fest will take place on 23 October at the Hybernia Theatre in Prague. During the evening, selected contestants from the Czech Republic and others from abroad will compete for a financial prize.

This year Marta Jandová, Peter Nagy, Lenny, MARPO, VESNA, Jana Sibera and others will perform as guests. Some of these guests will also sit on the jury that will choose the absolute winner.

The Bon Art Junior Fest International Singing Competition gives young singing talents aged 10-16 a unique chance to show what they can do. From the entries, six finalists were selected for the Czech Republic, who will then compete against singers from other countries in the grand final in Prague’s Hybernia.

Accompanied by the Bon Art Pops Orchestra under the baton of Felix Slováček jr., the finalists will sing a solo song and several joint songs. The winner, who will receive a prize of 4,000 euros, will be selected from all the competitors by an expert jury.

The gala evening will be hosted by Jan Čenský and Patricia Kaňok Fuxová. “I started working with Richard Liegert and his son Jakub about six years ago, when Sanremo Junior CZ/SK started. Even then I was excited, because there were children from 6 to 15 years old competing and they were performing in front of a sold-out auditorium with a huge symphony orchestra behind them… I wouldn’t have even made it to the stage! I admire them so much for that. But, of course, there are many hours of work and care behind it. In addition to the vocal training, the finalists learn how to perform, and here Lenka Bernardes and I had a little hand in it. It’s just a great idea and I’m glad that Sanremo Junior CZ/SK has turned into Bon Art Junior Fest and young talents can show what they have and maybe it will shoot them towards their dreams.”

Bon Art Junior Fest is organised by Moonlight Production, which was the licence holder for the 2016-2021 edition of the well-known international competition for young singers Sanremo Junior for the Czech and Slovak Republics. In 2022, Moonlight Production founded Bon Art Junior Fest, opening the way to success for other singing talents.
