About the inscenation

The legendary British band Tindersticks celebrated the 30th anniversary of their first album last year, but they certainly don’t plan to slack off. This autumn, they’ll be back with a new album, accompanied by an extensive European tour. As part of it, she will also come to Prague, specifically to the Hybernia Theatre on 30 September 2024.

Tindersticks need no long introduction, they have already played in the Czech Republic many times. The project got together in Nottingham in 1991 and they were already successful with their first eponymous record. With the release of their second album, they consolidated their typical sound, which was supported by a strong string section or orchestra. After a short hiatus, when the members devoted themselves to their solo projects, the band returned to the scene in 2007 and released seven full-length records in the following years.

The new album was announced a few days ago and the first single Falling, the light was released. This time the album was recorded in Girona, Spain. According to a statement from the members, this is the strongest record since No treasure but hope, whose release and subsequent tour was marred by the pandemic.

Tickets for the Prague concert will be on sale in the GoOut network from 21 February at 11:00.

The concert is organized by Charmenko Czechia.
